“Barrios” is a photographical documentary project that explores the new way of life that are appearing in peripheral Barcelona.

“Barrios” are a series of photography workshops, taught by the documentary photographer Jordi Oliver. it is a continuing project that started eight years ago where once a month, during a weekend, open to all people who wishes to discover the essence of the forgotten neighborhoods. 

So far so close. Barrios became a fascinating archive from great heritage importance for the memory of the city and its inhabitants. In this workshops we aim to collaborate with local social projects, centers, collectives and people from the neighborhoods.
